Scag Lawn mowers are in 4 main categories

1.The Zero Turn Riders- Includes the Sabre Tooth Turf Tiger series, Turf Tiger series, Wildcat series and the Tiger cub series. They are all powered by 24 to 31 hp industrial/commercial grade engines and have 48” to 72” cutter decks

2. Walk-Behind Mowers- Includes the SWZU series (Ultimate Hydro Walk- Behind), SWZ series (Hydro Walk-Behind) and the SW series (Belt drive walk- behind). They have cutting decks that range between 32” to 52”. The SWZU series have a floating easily adjustable “Advantage Cutting Deck”, a spring loaded belt system and a special tracking system which they’ve called “Adjust-A-Track” tracking system.

3. Three wheel Riders- In this group they have the Scag STHM which is a hydrostatic drive controlled by a single foot pedal.It has a low centre of gravity which gives it hillside stability.

4. Bagging Mowers- Includes the Cougar bagging mower with its 42” to 52” “Quick – Baffle” cutter deck AND the Cougar Utility mower which can also be used to haul supplies of up to 250 pounds. 25hp or 27hp engines power both.

Unique features of scag lawn mowers

Belts- The belts on these machines are Kevlar Cords instead of standard fabric or polyester cords making them adapt more to the rugged demands of commercial mowing.

Cutter Decks- The Advantage cutter decks are used in scag lawn mowers and this is backed by a 3 year “NO CRACK” warranty.

Technical Training And Support- The Scag team and its worldwide distributors provide technical training to dealers via the internet, video repair training and through manuals. These dealers in turn provide the same service to the clients. There’s also a 24hr online technical support via the internet.

Spare Parts Original factory manufactured spare parts can be purchased at the various dealers. In the occasion that the required part is not available at the dealers , it can be requested and will be supplied by overnight delivery to the dealer directly from the factory.

Warranty- All Scag lawn mowers are guaranteed for 3 years. This includes a 3-year cutter deck spindle limited warranty 3-year “NO CRACK” cutter deck limited warranty 2-year limited warranty on the entire mower – 1st year for parts and labour, 2nd year for parts only 2-year engine limited warranty through the industrial engine manufacturer.
